We encourage content and interactions that contribute positively to our community. Here's what we love to see:

- Original content: Create and share your own mods, textures, and creations

- Inclusive behavior: Welcome newcomers and help them get started
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited on Mod MC. Violations may result in content removal and account action.
Hate Speech & Harassment
- • Content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- • Bullying, harassment, or targeted attacks against individuals or groups
- • Doxxing or sharing personal information without consent
- • Threats of violence or harm
Illegal & Harmful Content
- • Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- • Malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- • Cheats, hacks, or exploits that harm multiplayer experiences
- • Content promoting illegal activities or substances
- • Pirated or stolen content
Inappropriate Content
- • Sexually explicit or pornographic content
- • Graphic violence or gore
- • Content depicting or promoting self-harm
- • Content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
Spam & Manipulation
- • Excessive self-promotion or advertising
- • Scams, phishing, or deceptive practices
- • Fake reviews or rating manipulation
- • Bot accounts or automated spam
- • Misleading download links or clickbait
3. Mod-Specific Guidelines
When creating and sharing mods on Mod MC, please adhere to these additional guidelines:
Content Quality
- Provide accurate descriptions of what your mod does
- Include clear installation instructions and requirements
- List compatible Minecraft versions accurately
- Use appropriate, descriptive screenshots and media
- Keep your mod updated or clearly mark it as discontinued
Licensing & Attribution
- Specify a clear license for your mod
- Credit all contributors and third-party assets used
- Respect the licenses of other mods if building upon their work
- Do not upload mods without permission from the original creator
Note: All mods are reviewed before publication. Mods that violate these guidelines will be rejected or removed. We reserve the right to request modifications before approval.
4. Moderation & Enforcement
Our moderation team works to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Here's how we handle violations:

First-time or minor violations receive a warning and explanation
Content Removal
Violating content is removed from the platform
Temporary Suspension
Repeated or serious violations result in temporary account suspension
Permanent Ban
Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
The severity of action depends on the nature and frequency of violations. Certain severe violations (e.g., malware distribution, illegal content) may result in immediate permanent bans without prior warnings.
5. Reporting Violations
Help us maintain a safe community by reporting content or behavior that violates these guidelines.

What to include in a report: The URL of the content, a description of the violation, any relevant screenshots, and the date/time if applicable. Reports are kept confidential.
6. Appeals Process
If you believe your content was removed in error or your account action was unjustified, you have the right to appeal.

- 3Explain why you believe the action was incorrect
- 4Provide any supporting evidence or context
Appeals are typically reviewed within 7-14 business days. The decision of the appeals team is final. Note that appealing does not guarantee reinstatement.
